You can’t argue that President Trump is not trying to fix our election system, but he needs the Republicans to get on board. While speaking to Republican senators this morning, POTUS made his case for terminating the filibuster so that we can pass voter ID, no mail-in voting and “pass all the things that we want to pass to make our elections safe and secure.” He said that if we don’t terminate the filibuster, then they won’t be able to pass any legislation and the Democrats will take power - and then they will remove the filibuster anyways and basically we will be screwed forever. He has a point. We are at the point that we need to use any means necessary - to save the Republic. Without free and fair elections, our country is gone.
