To keep your assets safe, follow these key rules: 1️⃣𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗔𝗽𝗽𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁. If you don’t know the project, can’t verify it, or it looks suspicious – don’t connect your wallet. 2️⃣ 𝗕𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀. ⚠️ Beware of Honeypot scams🍯 A honeypot looks like a regular token, but the smart contract is rigged: anyone can buy, yet only the scammer can sell.  The project gains momentum, the price surges, and early buyers feel confident – until they try to exit and realize the token won’t let them. At that point, the scammer drains the liquidity, the price collapses in seconds, and investors are left holding tokens they can’t move. These scams spread fast because DEX listings aren’t audited, and hype on X, Telegram, and Discord can make even the most suspicious projects look “legit” at first glance. There are red flags worth treating seriously: 🚩Transaction history with zero sells 🚩 Strange or restrictive smart contract behavior 🚩 Anonymous teams, minimal documentation, disposable socials 🚩 Sudden price spikes without real fundamentals A quick check on honeypot.is or rugcheck.xyz, plus a look at liquidity and trading patterns, can save you from falling into the trap.
