This rhetoric is not only reckless—it's politically disastrous and risks costing Republicans dearly in the midterms. I've heard prominent voices in our movement calling for extreme measures, like "Send in the U.S. Marshals to arrest elected officials!" This is not the path to victory. Such approaches will alienate independent voters, women, suburban moderates, and minority communities—precisely the groups we need to broaden our coalition. Here's the stark reality: Liberals have repeatedly invoked chaos and tyranny by weaponizing law enforcement—arresting and swatting political opponents based on fictitious allegations, with no real investigations, no grand juries, and no commitment to law and order. We cannot—and must not—replace liberal tyranny with conservative tyranny. We don't defeat their lawlessness by mirroring it. True victory comes through steadfast commitment to law and order, thorough investigations, due process, and the rule of law. That's how we win—and that's how we preserve justice.
