To understand how bad the situation is, look at this real example: in Pune, only 200 vacancies were announced, but more than 3,000 engineers showed up for the interview. This clearly shows how desperate and saturated the job market has become for engineers.
This is a serious wake-up call to rethink our education system, focus on skills over degrees, and prepare for a rapidly changing job market.
