Vulnerability here. I suppose I’ll always be involved in the political debate and will encourage people to take part. I’ve got a widely read newsletter, am looped in where I need to be, and am about to have a published book. But my heart is to do something bigger and for others. Rachel and I want to open one or more veterans retreats to be continuously funded for operations by grants. But we need to buy the properties first. Then we can provide first in class recreation, therapy, counseling, and family bonding time at no cost to veterans and active duty service members. It’s something we don’t have the money to do ourselves, so if it were to happen, it would be a God thing. We are working some of this on our end. I won’t be putting out a fundraiser link but if you know someone who is looking to invest significantly in something that I will personally ensure is successful, we could use the help. Dems recently filled the Grijalva seat in AZ-7 with a younger, nastier, female Grijalva. They are also going to replace Sylvester Turner (death) in TX-18 with another Democrat shortly. Greene moving to the door a year early is an effective net swing of 3 toward Dems just in the past two months as far as available votes on the House floor go. There’s almost no GOP majority.

Can you decide not to run for reelection for a 2-year term expiring in January 2027, thereby missing the 2026 primaries, and still complete the damn term you ran for? Hello? Asking for a friend… in a state between Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida.
